The time has come for me to share the follow-up to the dossier I recently compiled about the Acolyte; what follows is the high-level summary of everything I was able to pull together from Felicia Hajra-Lee and other inside sources within the XM research and development community about the Anti-Magnus leader, Jahan.
Agents, I’ve obtained declassified versions of the documents that Agents in Hong Kong, Vienna and Orlando helped assemble earlier this week thanks to a clue from a person I suspect to be Jahan. These documents reveal the Flash Shard Impact zones for all three Primary Anomaly sites on April 2.
There are a number of unanswered questions about this so-called ‘Vesuvian Magnus,’ but there is one area where I’m inclined to agree with Hank and Dr. Wright… I think Obsidius was a pawn in a much larger game. And that, my friends, may have some pretty seriously implications on our world today.
I’ve obtained another letter from Obsidius. This one is addressed to his commander (who could that be?). It’s clear from the contents that as the voyage proceeded, Obsidius was growing more and more uncomfortable with his situation.
Agents, we’re hurtling towards a moment of truth. In just under a week, the Resistance and the Enlightened… Jahan and the Acolyte… Anti-Magnus and 13MAGNUS… and possibly even the N’zeer and the Shapers will go head to head in a struggle that will span the globe, all to determine the fate of the Obsidian Shield. Are you prepared for that battle?
I received this cryptic image earlier today. Right now, I’m operating under the assumption that it’s a Portal Clue, leading either to a single or multiple locations — hopefully our investigation will lead to the truth of that matter.
A letter between Obsidius and his friend Marcus. Reading between the lines, this letter reveals an important fact: Obsidius himself seemed to have been developing some doubts about the nature of his mission.
This week on the #IngressReport: Some great new Sitreps, including Operations Feast, Opus, Fire and Ice, Over-lord, Blue Skin/White Cap and many more. NL-1331 hits the road again. New commands emerge in the Glyph Hack Command Channel. And the Obsidian Finale on April 2nd approaches at breakneck pace.
Relying on the secrets contained in an ancient document, Jahan is hoping to find any way possible to reach her endgame. Success for her will ultimately rest on the shoulders of the Resistance Agents at the Anomalies next week, but if she does succeed, it could dramatically alter the landscape of our world.
It seems the brass at IQTech Research have been keeping a close watch on Stein Lightman, most likely in the hopes that he will return to his past form as a highly skilled Glyph expert. We know from the news of the last few days that Lightman’s been in touch with Jahan, but based on this transcript it seems he may also be researching other avenues, including the mysterious Glyph Command Channel.
