This is what the everyday brains of tomorrow will look like… Is it a coincidence that they appear almost organic in nature?
Is this pareidolia or a system that extends through the natural world, through us, and into that which we create….

In Brief Graphcore has produce a series of images that show what it looks like when its development chip runs various AI software, such as Microsoft Research’s ResNet-34 architecture. Looking at these images is similar to looking at a scan from a brain to see how it works as both processes involve connections between different parts of a system.
One aspect all recent machine learning frameworks have in common – TensorFlow, MxNet, Caffe, Theano, Torch and others – is that they use the concept of a computational graph as a powerful abstraction. A graph is simply the best way to describe the models you create in a machine learning system.
